Comparing 2 games

The two games i have chosen are crash bandicoot and sonic the hedgehog i have chose these because they are practically the same game the areas, items and characters are just different because of the different protagonist's

Sonic the hedgehog vs Crash bandicoot

Aim of the game - Sonic  : destroy the experiments and creations that Dr eggman has created and collect precious chaos emeralds or avoid them from getting into the wrong hands and get help allong the way.

Aim of the game - Crash : Defeat mutations & experiments that Dr neo Cortex has created and aqquire upgrades and power ups along your journey while keeping your friends and family out of the hands of cortex.

Key collectibles - Sonic : golden rings that help keep you alive and chaos emeralds that can give you unique power ups and character improvements.

Key collectibles - Crash : Apples that stop you from dying and upgrades that allow you to use insane power ups such as super jump and crazy twist.

Sonic Unleashed

It is pretty clear on the cover that this isnt your average chilli dog eating furry friend.
Sonic unleashed is a game about sonic the hedgehog being the normal speedy hetgehog he is but when the sun goes down becomes a werehog this is when the game get's a little more violent that the usual speeding around collecting shiny rings.The 7+ on the cover suggests it isnt too violent for a child to play some people may disagree and will choose to buy more for teenagers and young adults.

Minecraft

Minecraft applies to all ages and can be played by literally anyone.

Minecraft can be a simple game you play with your friends and family to create simple structures and scenery, or it can be a game played by teenagers and up to fend off enemies and create Bases to live in so your not out in the dark with nowhere to go because then you will get killed.

Resident Evil 6

The sixth installment of the resident evil franchise.

This game is aimed at 17+ year olds but most teenagers play it it is a game created by capcom about a zombie outbreak with an unknown source and you spend your time in the game taking the heads off of zombies or trying to find a cure for the infected.
This game contains some frightening scene's and is not suitable to children.

You can tell by the Official cover that this isnt a childs game it has a very sinister feel to it.

You wouldnt see a number six look like this in a childs game, this shows that it is all about shooting or knifing zombies flesh untill nothing but blood remains.
